Behind the Scenes: How Clients Assemble Professional Services Teams and the Business Developer’s Role
How much do you know about the process owners go through in identifying projects, developing RFQ/RFPs, and selecting A/E/C firms to design and build them? By understanding the process from a client's point of view, you will be able to better address your clients' needs before, during, and after the selection process with the goal of securing new work for your firm.
During this Webinar, you will learn:
- How owners define projects and decide which project delivery method to specify
- Examine an owner project requirements (OPR) document and how it affects the team selection process
- Discover how owners craft RFQ/RFPs
- Understand how selection committees are created, their role throughout the process, and how shortlists are developed
- Explore how the BD effort during the pre-RFQ/RFP phase translates into the development of an A/E/C firm's response-and the business developer's role in the proposal process
- Gain tips for securing meetings with owners
- Discuss the role of chemistry in team selection
