Sherrie Chaffin, Director of Development Trinity Capital Advisors

Sherrie joined Trinity Capital Advisors in 2003 to manage the firm’s construction efforts. She has extensive experience with all types of commercial real estate development and construction, including overseeing tenant upfits, asset development and redevelopment, and ground-up office, industrial, retail, and multi-family construction and development.  Sherrie is currently the Director of Development for Trinity Capital Advisors. Sherrie’s past work experience includes both Lincoln Harris and Bank of America Corporate Real Estate. She is LEED AP certified and earned her degree in design with minors in business and building science from Auburn University’s College of Architecture.

Christopher Daly, Partner - Industrial Division, Childress Klein Properties

Chris Daly is an Industrial Division Partner with Childress Klein Properties, a privately held, full-service commercial real estate development firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.  As a Division Partner, Mr. Daly oversees the development and leasing of new and existing industrial projects in the Charlotte Region. He also is responsible for the company’s industrial business in the Triad region of the State.  Childress Klein Properties has been responsible for developing over 35 million square feet of commercial property ranging from industrial and suburban office parks to retail centers and downtown high-rises. In the Charlotte area, those projects include Afton Ridge in Cabarrus County, The Promenade on Providence Road, the Levine Center for the Arts and the Duke Energy Center.   It has recently opened a multi-family division concentrating on apartment development, and an acquisitions group.  Through development, Childress Klein’s portfolio has grown to over $1 Billion in owned assets, with commercial real estate properties located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Mr. Daly graduated with a BA, cum laude, from Duke University, and later earned his MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. 

Edwin Yarborough, Partner, Cresa Charlotte

Edwin is a founding partner of the Cresa Charlotte office, where he represents local, regional, and national companies with their various real estate needs. Edwin advises clients with needs related to strategic planning, portfolio management, new leases, expansions, renewals, and subleases, as well as purchase and sale transactions. Since starting in the commercial real

estate industry in 2004 Edwin has maintained a pure focus on exclusively representing corporate occupiers. His strong attention to detail and unwavering client commitment provides for best-in-class service for his clients. Edwin’s primary experience is with corporate and medical office users. Having a pure focus on exclusively representing corporate occupiers, his

efforts result in substantial cost and time savings for his clients, as well as mitigation of risk that is inherent throughout the real estate process. He has developed strong relationships in the local real estate community and spends much of his time developing new relationships and providing client-centric advisory services to companies in the Carolinas. Prior to founding the Cresa Charlotte office, Edwin was with The Staubach Company/Jones Lang LaSalle for several years where he was focused solely on tenant representation. Edwin earned a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.

 

Chris Schaaf, Senior Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle

At Jones Lang LaSalle, Chris is a director and serves as a Senior Vice President of the Tenant Advisory Group. Chris Schaaf specializes in helping companies with lease restructures, expansions, relocations, site searches and dispositions throughout Charlotte and the Southeast. His daily focus on tenant representation allows him to provide objective evaluations of various buildings/sites, without having an interest in promoting one over another. Prior to the Keystone Partners merger with Jones Lang LaSalle, Chris was an associate broker at Trammell Crow Company, where he worked with their industrial brokerage team on exclusively representing companies with site searches and lease negotiations.
