As Director of Sustainability at Asana Partners' Charlotte HQ,  Liz leads the company's environmental strategy across a national portfolio of urban, mixed-use real estate. In this role, she is responsible for setting and executing ESG goals, managing performance tracking and reporting, and integrating sustainability into asset management, design, construction, and operations. Under her leadership, Asana has advanced its commitments to energy efficiency and sustainable practices across its properties.
 

2. Emily F. Hubbard, CPSM, LEED AP BD+C
Principal | Regional Business Development Manager
TLC Engineering Solutions
 
Emily has more than 30 years' experience in almost every aspect of marketing and business development for architecture/engineering professional services. She is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and business partners primarily in Charlotte, Atlanta and North Florida. She works together with the marketing specialists in her operating unit to help drive business through the combination of relationships and qualifications. Emily is on the national board of Women in Healthcare, and serves on other regional boards and advisory councils. 
 
 
 3. Michelle Smith, CPSM

With over thirteen years of experience in marketing and sales, Michelle brings expertise in direct and digital marketing, content strategy, graphic design, public relations, and communications. Her background spans the AEC, insurance, and hospitality industries, giving her a diverse perspective on brand building and client engagement. At McFarland, she not only drives marketing and business development strategies but also oversees community engagement initiatives, ensuring the company's outreach reflects its values. Michelle has served on SMPS' communications committee, held the role of treasurer, and now leads the community outreach sub-committee. She is passionate about designing holiday marketing and gift campaigns that strengthen relationships, build lasting brand impressions, and make a meaningful impact in the community.
 

4. Marissa M. Date

As a Business Development Manager, Marissa focuses on driving growth and building strategic relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders.  She positions Integra Design Group, a minority-owned firm headquartered in Puerto Rico, as a trusted partner for innovative, architecture and engineering design solutions for the built environment. With a keen awareness of economic development trends across the Carolinas, Marissa actively aligns Integra’s services with regional priorities in a number of markets.
 

5. Stephanie Adler
Client Relations Coordinator

With over 25 years of business development and client relations experience, Stephanie has a proven track record in growing private client bases and implementing strategic initiatives across the Southeast. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Appalachian State University and currently serves as President of the Women in Healthcare-North Carolina. Recognized for her dedication to advocacy and inclusion, she has received honors such as Minority Development Enterprise Development Advocate of the Year, Charlotte Workforce Development Inclusion Advocate of the Year, while also being a proud Service-Disabled Veteran and Lumbee Native American Tribal Member.
 


6. Anna Lucas

Anna Lucas is dedicated to building relationships and exploring new and existing market sectors across North Carolina and South Carolina. She brings more than 22 years of experience in architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) business development and 17 years in interior design and facilities planning. Anna firmly believes that relationships are the foundation of any successful business endeavor. She has been involved in Boomerang Design's SheLeads program and has been a mentor through the program.
