Join SMPS Charlotte on May 23^rd for an on-site tour of the new, 151,000 SF, state-of-the-art digital campus and global headquarters for CompuCom Systems, Inc., in Fort Mill. Designed by LS3P Associates and Optima Engineering, and constructed by Choate Construction, the facility was built in just 12 months and opened its doors in 2018.

CompuCom’s mission is to leverage technology and innovation to drive collaboration, productivity and efficiency, and the building is a literal representation of that mission. With enough space for a workforce of 3,500 employees, the building is one of the first in the world exclusively powered by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) interior lighting technology (there are NO light switches anywhere in the building!). Additional features of the facility include a healthcare clinic, a gym, a digital café, firepit and a two-story digital video wall. Our tour will include a walk-through of the building, guided by representatives from CompuCom, LS3P and Optima, followed by lunch on-site with a presentation (and Q&A) about the building’s technology and systems.
