Good writing skills are key to effective communication. Join us for an interactive and informative writing and public relations workshop. During this session, Ansley Meredith and Lauren Reinhardt will teach us tips on how to improve technical writing skills and how to develop promotional content after the job has been won. Come ready to...
- Uncover ways to tailor you message to the specific audience you want to reach.
- Learn the four questions that you must answer in every news release or piece of promotional content.
- Discover how the time of day, day of the week or even month of the year can affect how much mileage you get out of your news release or event.
*Lunch will be provided.
Ansley Meredith, Owner - ENERGIZED Media Relations

Ansley started her career with a decade of experience in broadcast and print journalism. She knows how to get your message into media because she was the media. Years in national and local newsrooms taught her to work under tight deadline pressure, and within even tighter budgets. She understands, just like breaking news, your company’s story can change with little notice, and she knows your messaging must change based on who you are speaking to and how you are speaking to them. Ansley holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Northwestern University, and a Master of Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Ansley has a track record of helping clients in the A/E/C industries tell their stories in media including: news articles, videos, press releases, proposals, award submissions, websites, whitepapers.
Lauren Reinhardt
Writing has been a natural part of Lauren’s life since she could hold a pencil, and she enjoys turning technical jargon into understandable (even enjoyable) text. Lauren’s 15-year career moved through several industries, with writing always a component of her position. For the last decade, she has worked in the A/E/C industry in roles responsible for winning work, whether through active business development or proposal management. At STV, Lauren manages the proposal process to strategically craft a story that both sells the client on the benefits and reinforces the quality brand of the firm.
Lauren has an MBA from The Citadel and a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Clemson. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the College of Charleston.
